Eliza Miron, founder

Eliza wanted to establish a USA Track and Field Youth program here in Fort Wayne, Indiana because there are many life lessons learned through running and to be able to share this with children early on in their lives could potentially change their lives for the better.

Eliza began running at the age of 16 and she attributes her discipline, self-motivation and perseverance throughout her life to running. She founded the Canterbury HS track team in 2004, ran competitively Cross Country, Indoor/Outdoor track DIII all four years in college and then competed four marathons in 2008-2010, including the Boston marathon. She is known for her active 20 year run streak, being the 11th woman in the world with the longest run streak and inspires others to run by sharing her story.

Eliza began coaching in 2008 and first took USA Track and Field’s coaching course in 2009, she recently completed level 2 certification in July 2023. She has coached at the high school level and was volunteer coach at University of Miami in 2010.

Eliza is a USA Track and Field certified coach Level 2 specializing in Youth Development, she is also SafeSport certified and CPR/AED certified.
